Ability

Ability is to look at a blank page,
And create a poem.
Ability is to stare into the eyes of fear,
And come out stronger because of it.
Ability is to walk into a room of strangers,
And come out with friends.
Ability is to admit you are wrong,
When you are wrong.
Ability is to get back up,
When you fall down.
Ability is to believe,
When every thing seems lost.

Ability - a simple word, with a complex meaning.
For many, ability is never found, but for all, ability is within.
Ability stares everyone in the face at one time or another.
Whether your ability is how well you shoot hoops,
How well you flip at dancing,
How smart you are at school.
You have ability.
For some, ability is lost by never trying.
Whether never trying to shoot one more time,
Never trying to bend a little more,
Or never trying to score higher in school.

Ability is within.
Ability is yours.

i keep getting the urge to blog. haha

and it's about 50mins long. so yea.
it's interesting if you ask me.
been reading/watching lots of stuff these days..
maybe to distract myself from the things that are going on..
but whatever..
hmm.. today was kinda normal i guess..
if you exclude all the presents and stuff at least.
hope you all enjoyed the cornflake cookies that i made.
honestly though, v day should be called waste of time/money day =/
cause, if your with someone, why do you need a day when your forced to give them something?
after all, if you love them, you should be doing that often enough anyway.
oh well, but, it seems that most of the presents were for friends..
but still, it's kinda weird we have a day where..
weeee! lets all go and spend money on useless things!
haha, k. that was just random crap.
and to lengthen my rather short post, here's just some stuff i read recently...

Let's face it: English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant or ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins were not invented in England or french fries in France. Sweetmeats are candies, while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat.

We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square, and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. And why is it that writers write, but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce, and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So, one moose, 2 meese? Is cheese the plural of choose?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?

In what language do people recite at a play, and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell? Park on driveways and drive on parkways?

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? How can the weather be hot as hell one day and cold as hell another? Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds? Why is "abbreviation" such a long word?

When a house burns up, it burns down. You fill in a form by filling it out and an alarm clock goes off by going on.

When the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible. And why, when I wind up my watch, I start it, but when I wind up this essay, I end it?

it seems the impossible has happened and i'm updating. wow!
haha, anyway..
had the sudden urge to update my tunefeed as they had re-designed it.
however...
the new design doesn't allow you to skip songs.. which kinda sucks after i uploaded quite a few..
anyway, hope you enjoy it.

Edit : hmm.. just found out how to skip songs. at the topmost part where it says no artwork, you can see something at the right side of it. that's the next song. click on it to go to the next song and it will give a 3d effect of it moving. enjoy ^^

since it's my bday..
shall stop being lazy and post for once.

and the one person who fell asleep doing so. lol

and sianed on tml.. got band in the morning so the class party i'll have to go myself in the afternoon.
that sucks =/

went there to celebrate mr chew's birthday. lol
also saw nonami when we were there. haha
and..
